i have a 06 crew cab w/factory 6 disc bose system i would like to get more out of it what should i do???? add a amp and sub or lux bose

I'm another one that would like to know. How good does the factory Bose sound in the 06' crew cab? How loud? Does it distort?

My 06' Dodge Mega Cab Infinity system rocked in stock form. Only needed a little more bass.

I have the lux bose 10 speaker system in my '04 Denali XL. I am really happy with the system except a little low on the bass, unless your playing rap crap. Rap really punches the bass. You can add a pac type adapter to run an after market amp and subs. I have heard the lux has noticeably cleaner louder less distorted sound but have not compared the to. Have read the lux and premium bose system have the exact same speakers, just the amp is different. I can plug the Ipod touch right in to the rse inputs, sounds great. After 20 some years of after market systems I have no real desire to make my ears bleed anymore. Under 500 watts can be ok. I do love the bass though. Have not even thought once about changing the stock system.

id loose it all for something else

infinity imo is a much better speaker even in the oem dodges
