I installed new injectors in my truck and a couple of them leak from the fitting on the top and one of them appeared to leak from the threads in the middle of the injector, when i tried to remove it the top started to screw off of it. What are the torque specs for the injector bodies and the fittings on the injector lines? is there a seal in the injector body that may need replaced?
Thanks in advance for the help

must have bought chinese squirts. If not, then it shows some sloppy assembly by the manufator.body halves about 50 lbs torque, if still leaking, then the mating parts need lapping.there's no seal. check the injector and line flares for nicks, dont know the torque on them[i never use it anyway]

Did you install the copper crush ring/washer.....or did you use the old one?

i got the injector line fittings to stop leaking, i was afraid to tighten them too tight but i did. The injector that is leaking i tightened it to at least 100 lbs and it still leaks, i guess i will have to buy another one. I purchased the injectors a year ago and finally had time to put them on so i wont be getting it replaced under warranty.
Can i take the nozzle out of the leaking injector and put it in another injector body?

I know that you can... but I believe that they have to be recalibrate for proper pop pressure after doing that.

I installed the nozzel in a different injector and it works fine, i dont think that the pop pressure could be too different. I am going to order another injector and replace it asap, but atleast for now it is running.

Good to hear you got it to stop leaking, there are people on here that know way more about injectors than me, maybe one of them will punch in.
