Has anybody else had problems with something coming lose on the inside and rattling when you give the truck a little fuel ?
This is my second one to do this you can hit on the side of the muffler and hear it rattle like the guts have come lose in it.
it is the 4" :mad:

I've had mufflers do that, the inside has come loose. Send it back for another one.

I can honestly say Ive never had that issue. I suggest calling the dealer you got it from to get it replaced as long as its still under warranty.

Well I took the junk MBRP muffler off today and put a straight pipe on and it sounds great not much louder then it was before.
got to looking at the muffler and it has broke lose in the center where it goes into the muffler.

Hmmm i dont have that problem but my 4" pipe does thouch the cross member and rattles on it. I need something to seperate the 2... I also have the muffler delete coming in and i hope its way louder than the muffler or I will be very disapointed.

you will like the sound.
on mine if you look at the end of the muffler you will see the weld on the outside go to the edge of pipe where it goes into the muffler and thats where it is lose.

I also have 4" mbrp and the guts are loose in the muffler, system is 7 months old,mbrp sent me a new muffler

I just installed my 4" this week. It was not the best fit, but it went on. Some of the tubing was bent, muffler had a dent, and the 5" tip was dented.

Of course I still put it on, my truck runs good and sounds good.
