WHy does nobody make a programmer for the 6.5 96+ trucks instead of a flash that is way over priced?

Volume, volume, volume!

If you take into account the cost to develop it, add in a nice profit margin and then divide that total by the number of potential customers, you will see that it would cost WAY more than the reflash would.

It's sad to say, but our trucks are 'ancient history' to the aftermarket, and low volume to boot.

On GM-diesel.com at least one person made his own programmer for his OBDII truck and could turn up his veriables such as fuel delivery and advance.

Who and how QM?

There is more to it than just adding , timing, boost, fuel so I'd ber leary of a home built one. who on GM Diesel steak sauce trolls there under a different name so make sure you check it out 1st.
