Has anybody ever tried running propane and water meth. together. I'm curious if that would work I tow a fifth wheel and using propane for the mileage and would I be able to run a water meth. injection too but just the water to keep the egt low, and is it worth it.

Yes it would be fine. I had the same questions awhile back when I was looking into running propane. The water will help control the EGTs and you might see a slight increase in milage.

Are you still thinking about adding propane?

Nah not on this truck. Id like to have something I can fill at the house and drive 2000+ miles without running out. Like when I go to work. For me to do that with propane without taking up bed space it was going to cost some money and fabbing. But I got two more diesel projects that might see propane.

how big is your tank that you get 2000 miles.

Ive order a 38 gal that will fit under my toolbox. That will give me around a 2300 mile range. I have a drum of methanol at home I use. Its hard to find 0 deg windshield wiper fluid in South Texas, much less anything stronger.

I cannot answer the propane question directly as I dont use it, however our smart controller is a very interesting device. It can activate both the propane and water injection. You can factor in EGT (with our egt attachment) and any other sensor your vehicle has. We have various kits with this controller.

Running water injection only with propane is fine and will lower egts.
We do not recommend running a mix more then 75/25 water/meth mix when used in conjunction with propane. Reason being is that the methanol will act as a catalyst to help the diesel burn. Too much and it will set the propane off too soon and you will be replacing head gaskets:(
