My Local Dealership Here Went Under So Now I Had To Use The Reedman Toll Chevy Down The Road. Here We Go Had To Jump The Dmax This Morning So I Took It Up To The Dealer For That And Also Some Rough Driving Like Clogged Fuel Filter. First Thing Was The Battery Tech Says You Have Too Much Aftermarket Stuff Hooked Up To The Batteries. 2 Amps And A Snow Plow And A Salt Spreader. I Guess That's Too Much Lol. Service Writer Is A Freind Of Mine So He Goes Back To The Tech And Tells Him To Replace The Battery But Only 1 Is Bad. I Thought You're Suppossed To Replace Them In Pairs. So That Probelm Is Fixed. Now Comes The Bogging That Happens Once In Awhile. And I Did Change The Filter Before Going To The Dealer. Tech Comes Out And Says It's A Clogged Filter Maybe I Say Nope It's 48 Hours Old. Scratches His Head And Said I'll Be Back In A Little Bit. 2 Hours Now And He Tells Me No Codes But I'm Reprogramming The Ecm To Clean The Egr. He Only Does That After I Tell Him That I Read It On Here. So Now I Have Had An Egr Valve Motor Cleaning Done . Was This Nec. Or Are They Blowing Smoke Up My Ass And Should I Look For Something Else. The Bulletin They Told Me Was 06-06-04-066d. Thanks And Sorry For The Rambling On

hows it running? Still have roughness to it? If you are still having the probelms I would possibly try the EGR blocker plate. I know when I had EGR/tuning problems I had some really weird problems until I installed the blocker.

Allot of dealers don't really know what they are doing when it comes to the diesel end of things, I haven't found one here that I would let touch my truck, problem is I have to take the truck 12 hours back home when something does come up.

Mike batteries should be changed in pairs. IF the load test the battery be there to see what the meter shows. The one ends up discharging to the other battery that doesn't have the same charge. The battery that is left does it have any sulphur on the terminals? If so it is going bad as well. Make sure that you give the alternator enought time to recharge the batteries when you are using the snow plow and sander. Vaseline works well to keep the terminals clean. Any terminals that you add make sure that they are as large as they can be some of the #12/10 connectors tend to have small surface area on them. Always have them give printouts of what ever that say( codes) is wrong with something and inspect the fuel filters as well. Keep for awhile anyway replaced parts. Good luck.
