Im interested in a couple of them also,is it a sticker or a badge? It is a polished billet aluminum badge. It measures 1.5" X 6" and has a domed face. You can see pictures of the Duramax version at the bottom of the page at this thread.

The only place to view the Duramax badge so far is on this forum. It is available to order through the www.billetbadges.com site though.

Will we be able to get it in a flat face in a brushed aluminum finish, similar to the factory Duramax badges?

Sorry about the site. I am in the process of updating the site and will have the Duramax and Allison badges up on the site in the next couple of weeks. Plus I just got the first Duramax badges off the mill last week. You should be able to see GM represented by the end of the month. :ro) Hopefully some of you will send me pics of your trucks when you get the badges on and I can post them in my Customer Rides section.

Yes, you can still get the flat face badges if you tell me that is what you want. Just put note in the Additional Information on the order form that you want flat badges.

Geez Steve...I didn't even know about these! Are these the same price as the D-Max Badges? BTW...I love my D-Max badges!!! These take longer to machine because of all the fine text. I am offering a special to you guys at $37 each. I don't have them on my website yet because I just got them finished. I am still working out a small issue with the machining and paint of these. They are milled with a smaller tool to get the detail and the mill marks make the paint have little ribs. From a foot away you don't see it, but I am going to add an extra coat a paint to try and smooth it out more. Other than that, they are perfect.

If you want to order them, just select the 1.5" X 6" badge and in the text area type in the "Allison Transmission" for the text. Also mention that you have seen it here.

Hello:

Can I have different paint other than the blue? I have a black truck, so the blue would look bad. I was thinking of just black lettering.

Let me know the price.

Thanks

MaXRSmart

All black lettering is not a problem.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to remove the old decal from the truck?
Do you simply pull on it?

Thanks

You can use a piece of heavy fishing line to saw through the tape (kinda like flossing) then use a good tar&wax remover to soften the residual tape/goo and rub it all off.Can anyone give me suggestions on how to remove the old decal from the truck?

I just debadged my truck. used 3M adhesive remover(auto parts or home depot) and a plastic cooking spatula. all badges done in 1/2 hour....tooo easy.

I am on this site looking for these badges, readin and reading- none of the links are leading me anywhere. I must be stupid. All I want on my truck is duramax/allison badge(s) Love to see some pics/you can e-mail to me too

Use a hair blower and a plastic blade. Then clean it up with a mineral spirit. After you will need to put some wax back on the paint.
