Looking into buy a 2001 GMC Duramax with 72k miles.

Now ive never owned anything diesel, is there anywhere I can find basic info on owning a diesel? Info on fuel additives, basic **** like that.

I have a 2001 durmax with 84k. Make sure that you see all of the service records and see if injectors replaced, fuel regulator, fuel rails, steering, 4x4 switch and tranny work. If you can confirm repairs, then you MIGHT be ok. Also, check warranty. Injectors have been extended to 200k. Good truck, if you don't mind seeing the dealer "every now and then...."
