DURAMAXJESSE 02-17-2009, 10:25 AM I turned it on early this winter by pressin the go peadal and hitting the brake three times I believe. Now its been warmer around here and that thing really burns fuel so I want to shut it off, I try the same process as turning it on but it doesn't shut off. The manual says nothing about how to shut it off. ( I don't have steering wheel controls btw) Thanks for any advice. I understand if it's ideling (high) for a period of time but shouldn't effect you while you're driving??????????? Am I missing something? chriss8935 02-24-2009, 08:57 AM westx4, you are not missing a thing. high idle will only use more fuel when it is idling high and has nothing to do with fuel mileage when driving. I believe what DURAMAXJESSE is saying is that he believes high idle is coming on when it does not need to, wich in turn is wasting fuel. at times I feel the same way. | ||
