I have a running light out (the passenger side one) and am trying to replace it. But, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get at it. Anyone know how to do this? Is there a way to get the light assembly off from the front?

You mean the DRL? If so, pull the headlight assembly out (remove the two bayonets). You can then easily remove the DRL assembly (from behind, one plastic spring tab to release, the opposite side tab just holds it in place). The bulb is a 4157, but a 3157 will work in a pinch.
