Anyone have any Eagle Alloy wheels with "superfinish" ? I can't find anything on the website about it, the 101s come with this finish. I am wondering how easy they are to keep up (not interested in the workout that constantly comes with plain polished)
Is "superfinish" just a clearcoat on a polished wheel or ???

I've got eagle 589's and I swear that I cannot keep them polished. I am going to spray paint or powder coat them and just use them for winter. I need Chrome!!! Don't waste you time unless they guarantee that no polishing is required!!!
GO CHROME!!!

The "superfinish" is a hard one to find information about. To the best of my knowledge is there version of a clearcoat. If it is as good as the factory alcoa clearcoat then it would be a great option. My factory alcoa clearcoat wheels stay clen with a brush and soapy water. They are imperviuos to the salt and magnesium cloride. If you gouge them with a rock the do not chip, run or peel.
When I buy new wheels I will madate a properly applied clearcoat.
