When I put my truck in part it sounds almost sounds like a squeaking noise like a belt is or something! But when I put my truck in gear reverse or drive the sound goes away:( I am confused on what this is? It is a belt I can't hear the sound in the engine compartment.. Could it be the trans because that is where the noise is strongest? It shifts like a dream and everything is normal w/ tow haul on everything! Nothing is different? I just can't seem to find the source for this noise! Any help thanks...

Sort of hearing the same on my truck, but not a problem to be found or felt..

Ya for sure everything feels right nothing not working like it's not supposed too well from the operations of things.. I am going to my shop tomorrow and gonna see what is wrong before I go into the dealer and have them tell me they have to run diagnostics, I'll just tell them to fix it along with my intermediate shaft whatever it's called!

I've got the exact thing going on,it only seems to squeek at idle u just bring the rpms up a little and it goes away. But the other day I made a 550 km trip when I got there the squeek was gone. I figured it would be gone for good started it the next morning and it came back. I figured it might be a idler pully but the belt isn't jumping at all so any info on what your shop said would be greatly appreciated
