Any advice on stacking these two products? :help2:!!!

I had the Hypertech before the Banks and kept the Hypertech after Banks install. This way I could program the proper tire size.


Now I'm considering stacking them. Am I just asking for trouble? Will it screw up the Banks set-up? :badidea: ???

I Ran That Setup Last Truck Pull Season And It Ran Great. I Had The Stock Tranny Last Year And I Had No Problems With It. I Think I Got More Power With The Hypertech On 90 Hp And The Banks On Level 3 Or4. You Can Go Higher But Be Careful W/ The Stock Tranny In Fifth Gear. Hope This Helps

I have stacked the Predator (40HP) and Six Gun/level 6 (LLY) before at the track. Let's just say the 4-5 shift wasn't the smoothest in the world.:rolleyes: I'm really considering upgrading my tranny in the very near future. I didn't purchase the truck for drag racing, but as someone else has mentioned before; Duramax is a drug and I'm addicted!!:eek: ):h BTW, yes, you are asking for trouble stacking anything on top of the Six Gun.:D

Question: What do you mean by asking for trouble, 05 2500hd? Simply because it'll be too much for the tranny, or that the 6 gun doesn't like cooperating with other stuff?

The 6-gun with speedloader by itself is at the very limit for a stock transmission.

With my encounters, it's been transmission problems. Unless you're ready for a tranny upgrade, play it safe. :D

That's what I thought. Other than the obvious "weak link" though, the 6 gun cooperates with stacking, so it seems?

Thanks for all the input. If I decide to stack, do I have to do anything special to stack? Like: unplug the Banks system? re-set codes in the Banks module? ect.
