I saw a pair of these last week, the land surfaces weren't smooth like the stock valves they replace. I believe they might wear the bores in the aluminum valve body--am I wrong?

nobody has used them long enough to tell. Your better of drilling two 1/2" holes in your oil pan

Worthless? What do you want pictures of holes in the trans pan, or the valves? I don't have a digital camera so you're out of luck on my end. All one has to do is drag a finger nail on the valve land and you'll be able to feel that the surface is very coarse, sorth of like a piece of 400 grit sandpaper--could probably result in valve body problems in the future.

I believed you when you said that... Probably right. Lots of people have asked about the bullydog valves and everyone that answers usually says they are worthless. Save your money for a real shift kit. So when eric said "might as well drill 2 holes in your oil pan" that was what I said we need pics of... Because it would be funny.. ok?

gtmax. I have not personally seen the valves but it dont suprise me on the rough finish. Valve body bore wear is unacceptable when your looking to upgrade transmissions.

While the BD valves are a low budget option for upgrading your Allison, they really wont help much of anything. They do not really fix anything, just mask it with higher clutch pack pressures. If your serious about upgrading the trans, keep the money in your pocket until you have the funds to do it correctly.

The two half inch holes in the pan will only help you get the fluid out faster...LOL
