Am thinking about doing a cold air intake kit on my truck. I see there are a million different products out there and I have no idea if one is better than another, or if this is even worth doing it. How much performance difference is there between the stock intake and an aftermarket intake? Any info would be appreciated.

I would say use the search feature on this forum, there are many topics about CAI and stock intakes. Some people like stock some like aftermarket. Personally I have an AEM, I like it and I feel it is better than stock. Banks, Airaid, AFE, S&B are ones I would also consider as well.

I have the Banks kit and I really like it. Definetly made a difference over stock. Many say it is the best CAI out on the market, even though I think it is , some don't. I know alot of guy's have them on this site and they will say the same thing I am. But they are kinda spendy. If you don't want to spend alot I would look into the S&B , which is kinda like the Banks without the scoop, but half the price.

S&B is the best bang for the buck. Banks also makes a very nice unit, but you will pay for it.
