When you installed the lift did it use riser blocks in the rear or was there new rear springs? If it has riser blocks you could end up bouncing in the rear.

As bogger stated there are many pullers pulling with 4" lift kits and even some with 6" or better.

Which 4" kit? Not all lift kits are made the same or to the same standards.

4" Tuff Country here and I have not had any trouble at all.

As I've said before, after talking to Tony B (and seeing his truck live in action) and ecc33 I was sold. TC doesn't get the publicity like say Cognito, but it's a well made lift as well.

I've got a TC 4" and beat the hell out of it (Drag,Sled,Tow), with no problems. The Cv's are a perfect angle for launching/pulling (little negitive), 1.5 turns in TB's. If you want to pull with it in Mod street type class, I would upgrade to the 4" block in the rear. It will put you right around 26". Clamp the springs as well.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280629

We've had some issues with our truck, not sure it's the lift or the results of additional horsepower. The lift causes no handling or traction issues as far as we can tell. Our CV shafts are at slightly different angles, looks like a spacer will correct that. For our truck, we now have to tighten up the torsion bars a little when using hanging weight. Cost us a couple CV shafts to find that out.

Our CV shafts are at slightly different angles (each shaft is a different angle or different from before), looks like a spacer will correct that (CV spacer or diff spacer?). For our truck, we now have to tighten up the torsion bars a little when using hanging weight. Cost us a couple CV shafts to find that out. (was the front end too low causing negative CV angles)?

Thanks!

1. Left is slightly different than right.
2. Diff spacer.
3. Yes, it's OK without HW

After the first CV broke, we put a second 1/4 inch ring spacer between the diff and shaft. One was furnished with kit. When pulling, it seems we have less up and down travel than before. We think that should be a good thing, keeping the CV angle more consistant. This year we should be smarter on t. bar tension.
