It's pretty easy, you could either use a couple of relays or possibly use the diode trick. I personally used relays. Basically with the relay you need a constant power (battery), a trigger (the high beam power) and a basic understanding of electronics. The wires that you want to tap for the Trigger and to give power to your low beams/foglights is the colored one of the 2. You can do this with one relay, but I recommend using 2 (one for each set of lights). If you use the diode trick, you would use the factory relays to keep the lights on. Either way it cheaper than buying the painless kit. I do have a basic wiring diagram for this if you want. Just PM me and I will send you the actual instructions from the painless kit and the wiring diagram.
