I am new to the the Fairfield, California area and I am looking for someone that carries the Mobile Delvac 1 oil. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wally World carries the Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5w40 full synthetic, it's the same thing as Delvac 1. I bought 10 quarts yesterday, $4.88 a quart, bought my own filter at NAPA (Wix), and had the tire shop do the labor for $11. Sweet! JJ :)

Wallmart has 5 Qt bottle now of mobile 1 for 19.99. Thats making me want to change from the amsoil I run now. Amsoil just uped there prices the first of april.

Wyomax, the Mobile 1 you are referring to is NOT approved for diesel use...it's the regular Mobile 1 for gasoline engines. The Delvac 1 or Mobile 1 truck are what you want and need.

Mobile 1 Truck? How much different is this compared to Delvac 1? I have been running the delvac 1 for 25K miles now and I have my oil analysis done and I know what to look for in my results. I would prefer to run the Delvac if possible. I know up in Alaska the only place I could find it was at Petroleum Inlet, but here in Cali there should be a lot more places to find it. I do like the WIX filters, I have been running K&N the last 10K miles. I have been looking for the Mobile filters for the truck but haven't had any luck yet. Any other ideas of where to find the Delvac oil? If I cannot find it then I probably will have to switch over to this Mobile 1 Truck. Thanks for the replies.

Have you noticed any difference in your oil analysis running the k&N filter? I have been running there intake system for a couple years. but after reading about the test done on filters here I been wanting to have a analysis done to see. I run amsoil for 5000 miles change filter and add a qt. Then change it all after another 5000 miles.
