and i hate it. There was way toomuch resonance in the cab and it was way to loud outside for my liking. i would recommend not doing this and just getting a performance exhaust

This highlights that whole "eye of the beholder (or ear in this case)". Many of us who have done that love it and think it sounds great. Then some think it is too loud. I hardly noticed a difference in volume, just a little deeper note. What cab/bed length do you have?

actually im 18 and its jus like everyone said "it sounds like an indian truck"
im going to get a performance system instead

i have an extended cab long bed and aslso because my dad still partially owns it he got mad cause it decreases the value he said

I dont know much about exhausts so what does straight piped mean?

Straight pipe is simply removing the muffler. Basicaly what you've got is a pipe that comes from the turbo all the way back to the exhaust exit. For most it does increase the volume of the exhaust. Some like it, some don't, it's just what you want.
