Jest letting everybody know that I had a large grin on my face earlier today as I completely smoked a fullsize dodge with the magnum V8. Not a hemi, but still at least a 2000 model year. By the end of the intersection, (kind of a big one) his front bumper was even with my rear:ro) ! Made me proud of the old diesel. Still able to kick ass after 200+k.

At 2.25 a gallon, it's smoking a hole in my wallet to WOT but it stil feels good to wind it up.

0.80 cents/ltr here in Alberta or in US gallons would be $3.03/gallon. I don't understand it, we have huge reserves and produce oil/gas here like crazy! I work on this stuff everyday!

Yes, it is definitely something I don't do often at all!! I don't have enough money to literally poof it into the air all the time, but good to know she still can when I need to!

It's funny isn't it. I was in Valdez Alaska a couple days ago and diesel prices were around $2.50/gal. This is the terminus for the Alyeska Pipeline which currently carries approx 900,000 barrels a day to ships bound for the "Lower 48". There is also a small refinery right next to the terminal, yet still some of the highest fuel prices in the country. Sure makes me think there's more than a little price gouging going on. ;)
