In other words removing emissions equipment is illegal, Has it stopped many people from doing it anyways? No, but if your going to remove any emissions equipment don't post about it. As for the stock muffler, its a water heater, junk it and get a straight thru design muffler. Not all 6.5 had a Cat on them. Neither mine or my dads have one on it.
