When I get my truck back today I plan on installing my new MSD MAP sensor from summit racing. I just finally saw the second one on my truck's firewall. The one I want to replace is the one in the top of the intake right ??
Just checking :exactly:

The one on the firewall is the BARO sensor for the hated EGR http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/Throwup.gif
You are correct, replace the one on the intake.

You'll have to reuse your old o-ring because the new one doesnt come with one. Other than that, plug and play. Before the map I maxed at 10-11 psi, and after the map install, I was peaking at 18 and running a constant 16psi. But I have the "f " engine so you may see slightly less maybe. Let us know how she goes.

You are correct, replace the one on the intake. There is no EGR on HD engines but some still have the BARO on the firewall I guess.
I have the same engine as you do born ready so results should be close also:grd:

All '94, OBDI '95 HD or F engines have a baro on the firewall. It can be resisted too, but to what effect is questionable. It raised the WGDC on my '94 when I put a 5.6K ohm resistor on it, so I left it.

OBD II non EGR baro is sensed at start up through MAP so it has 1 sensor with dual function.
EGR OBDII has MAP & firewall; firewall sensor is the dual function part, baro at start up and used as EGR control feedback after start up.
