I have an '08 CC, my stock rear speakers sound low, especially compared to the front.

Any other owners out there that can say the same or different?

Check the Balance and Fader to make sure everything is Even and in the Middle.

Did all that before. I'm thinking it is the radio, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't deliberate on the radio.

Mine is like that as well. I never noticed until my daughter was in the back last nite and commented on it. Maybe I just need to upgrade to an amp and a box!

anyone know what to do about this? I dont understand why the rear sound so much lower? I changed out the head unit and it still has lower volume in the rear speakers.

It is my opinion that the lower volume is intentional. Why?

You will probably have to replace with an aftermarket head unit.
