Who Makes the Best LED tailights ?

Im tired of my Brake light bulb working intermitantly. Was thinking LED lights would solve it.

Im looking for a nice set of Smoked LED tails , Dont want any Ricer Euro crap.

Maybe even LED replacement bulbs might work for me as i like the stock taillights.

Any suggestions?

i got some nice tinted ones off ebay for under 100 bucks, sorry thats the best pics of them i have on my laptop, theirs pics in my garage but there from a distance but on those you can tell there tinted better

i had them in the front of my old truck , i didnt like them they made the blinker blink fast like a lights out, but these tail lights have the resistor in them to light the lights blink the right way

Id be careful buying those off ebay. Every pair of normal clears Ive bought off there always get condensation in them and leak at the carwash. You get that in LED's and they're done. If you like the stockers just goto AutoZone and get some LED bulbs to put in there. I liked em when I had em on my other truck. Or go here (http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html) and order em. But hey if these guys dont have probs then Id go that route too.

ic an vouch for them and the anzo clears off ebay had both no issues

I just put a Recon smoked third brake light in. Looks so good I ordered the tail lights to match!

Beware the ebay LED bulbs- I have a set in the DRL's on my truck now and after 6 weeks more bulbs were dead than lit. You get what you pay for. I know a lot of people don't care for Recon but I have had nothing but great experiences with their stuff and plan on getting their LED tails this spring when the damn heating bill isnt so high.

I like the way the Recons look, just have heard horror stories of their quality and cust serv, Plus they Ripped off Top Hogs install instructions.

But if i can find a good set i might go that route.

www.superbrightleds.com has them you just need the one that is set up for leds vs filaments that fits a silverado

leds in drls wont last long with any set up like signals they need a inline resistor due to the way they use the pulse set up. as for inline resistors for lights well the bad thing is they got hot you need to cut wires and and cost about same as a flasher which just plugs in

plus you need a load resistor for each bulb

got mine off ebay tim for 96 bucks shipped. exactly the same as the recons and 1/3 the price. i blew 5 fuses while putting mine on :lol:

So you are happy with them? What caused the blown fuses? Any pics?
