Does anyone know the tallest/largest tires that will fit nicely under a '05 2500HD 4x4? The stockers are teeny, and I need something larger, any ideas? Thanks

Matt

265's should fit easily. 285's will require adjusting the torsion bars and possibly trimming some plastic. Bigger? Depends on the rims and tires.

Green keys and bilistens. Actually I just took them off and put the stock tires back on, they rub alot when you go offroading, but it drives great on the highway. Looking for a 6" lift now that will fit H2's

295's will need trimming and torsion bar crank mine still rub on tight turns, as far as how many turns to level, it varies from truck to truck, just turn a few at a time crawl out from underneath and take some measurements, I think mine are cranked 12 or so times not sure if it is level or beyond I was trying to get them to stop rubbing I didn’t want to trim any more, waiting on my green keys and my new cognito leveling kit and my rear lift blocks. If you turn up you keys make sure you get an alignment

They are chrome H2 take off's, $900 for the set (wheels and tires). Just call around some local Hummer dealerships and ask them if they have any take off's. Green keys are just chevy 1/2 ton torsion keys, they are indexed differently to give more lift. You can probably get the same lift by just cranking the stock keys, but the green keys allow you to get a bit more if you want. Front bumper was trimmed some along with some triming on the inside of the fender wells. Tires only rubbed when I went offroading, now I'm looking for a 6" lift:D

Some guys have put them on the stock wheels....I don't know if I would be so brave. Are you planning on changing wheels?

You sure are jumping into this with both feet, aren't you! COOL!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!!!!!! She's buying! Marry that one quick, before she gets away!

(But don't let her talk to Kat or MrsSpoolin....otherwise you'll never get your truck back from her!)

call a local Hummer dealership, their always replacing the stock wheels with aftermarket ones. Call them up and ask them if they have in H2 takeoffs, my dealer had 2 sets. You can get non chrome for ~$500 and the chromies ~$900.

well the dealer that had the 04 GMC pissed me off, and the new car dealer came within 3000 on an 05 new one.....so it was a no brainer.......:ro)

of 4 H2's shipped to my doorstep for $550. Hehh - yeah, the tires
cost almost half again more!

Just realized - if you mean WITH rubber, then yeah, $900 would be a good deal.

Good luck!
