I am still working on some custom things for it right now...
PROS:
The ride is EXCELLENT. The height is perfect. Love the over look of cars in front of me. People wont pull out in front of you as quickly! And, it is juts fan as hell!
CONS:
loud tires, really that is it. The New BDS 7" High Clearance is off the chain, with a 3"bl

06SIXSPEEDMANUAL 02-08-2009, 08:51 AM I run a 6" procomp. It rides better than stock. I still pull trailers with it. I really don't have any complaints:cool: Check out my garage for more pix
bigblue02hd 02-08-2009, 08:57 AM Mine... 02' HD, Cognito 7-9" kit (set @ 7"), 3" BL, 37/13.50/17 Toyo M/Ts, 17x9 Procomp Xtreme Alloy 7005's.
Pros
Looks great, get alot of compliments.
Cognito rides great, better than it used to.
Toyo's have been a good tire.
Chrome wheels, finally not polished anymore.
Cons
3" BL shows alot of frame
Tires stick out up front, cops complain.

wally3614 02-08-2009, 09:10 AM NICE rigs man both of em!!! I am having the same situation with pregnant wife getting in the truck thing! What r the main complains cops r giving u?
bigblue02hd 02-08-2009, 09:21 AM Thanks... obviously b/c the tires stick outta the wheelwells up front and can throw rocks/debris. It was worse with the stock flares, so thats why I went with the Bushwacker pocket flares. And, I run the maximum backspacing I can to keep the wheels tucked in too.
wally3614 02-10-2009, 08:26 PM i like the flares i have contemplated getting them or not....
iokua80 02-10-2009, 09:11 PM Pros: Love the height (although I wish it was bigger )
The tires are quiet
Love being bigger than most
Cons: Not big enough.
Hard as hell to maneuver a crew cab long bed.
Wish it was bigger

thanks man, but really, it is amazing just what a few bucks can do to a truck....and one gadget at a time ya know?
chevy_69k20 02-10-2009, 10:45 PM Not as big as those ^^^^^^ but...................
PROS:
-Not like every single other farmer around here that has a diesel
-More respected on the road (people get out of the way)
-A lot more fun to drive than any other truck
-I can mount any tire i can fit in the wheel wells and still be able to pull anything I can hook to.
- it SMOKES
CONS:
-Get pulled over on a weekly basis (tires sticking out of fenders, tint, loud exhaust, racing)
-seems impossible to keep clean this time of year
-More expensive than my GF (she hates my truck, it gets more attention from me than she does)

chevy_69k20 02-10-2009, 11:02 PM NICE rig! What shock hoops and type of shocks are you running?
Thanks a lot....... The shock hoops are Cognito and the shocks are bilstein 5100's..... I got them from Nick along with every other cognito part on my truck. install was extremely easy!
wally3614 02-10-2009, 11:17 PM yeah i think i am going to end up going with the Bilsteins...

Thanks for the compliment! I don't have a tuner yet. I was waiting to get a Bully Dog PMT until I did a SAS and once I put 40s on till I ran into a snag......Fiance wants to be married in June and have a house......so I guess I don't get to play anymore for a few months. Oh well. Once she's happy I'm gonna have some fun. :D
Josh
wally3614 02-11-2009, 11:00 AM yeah I got lucky and used the tax return a week before wefound we r pregnant again! Wishuuuu
JMGAZ 02-11-2009, 01:28 PM 2005 with 7" Cognito and 35's on 18's.

Chevy1925 02-11-2009, 01:32 PM here is mine
Pros:
Love bein higher than everyone
Like the front end bein wide
i still use it to two everything
she four wheels like hell!
i go anywhere i like too
since the new shocks, it rides better than stock
i could just go on and on lol
Cons:
Needed to buy some upgraded parts to make things last (upper ball joints, all new steering set up, and shocks)
Nothing really else. it does everything i need her for and then some but as stated before, the GF hates how i spend more time on the truck than with her :D

mmangels22 02-11-2009, 01:36 PM My pics in garage.
PROS
Nice stance
Like to be higher than traffic, can see all obstacles
For oil changes etc no need to jack the front up
People ENVY IT
CONS
Tires cost way to damn much
Lower fuel mileage
Dealers tend to thumb their noses when doing certain warranty repairable items
Front end parts wear quicker.
Other than that I don't think I would own a stock setting truck again, I love my truck.

yep 2008 h2's and 315's. Check my garage for the side pics. My fender measurments are pretty much 49 all the way around. When i put the mickys on i am about 51" or so all the way around. The supposed 33" bfgs are way small lol. Oh well just the winter shoes. It does ride really nice though.
