Does anyone know if there is a diff between the tanks?

I have an 06 LBZ CC/SB and have a chance to get an Transferflow replacement tank from an 03 CC/SB I think would be an LB7.

The site shows diff part numbers, http://www.transferflow.com/GM_fuel_tank_systems.html

But are the tanks or fittings diff? Can I use the 03 tank in my 06?

No you cannot use the 03 tank in yours. The fuel sender is a different size.

Is it an easy fix, or can it be? Still just the twist on unit right?

No, its not an easy fix. Your 06 has quite a bit bigger hole in it for a sending unit. I've probably installed about 15 of these thru the years. (for all years) I had a 2002 and thought I would just use the Transferflow from it when I bought my 04 LLY. It wouldn't work and this was before Transferflow had one for an LLY. I had to put my stock tank back in the 02 and sold the Transferflow to a friend. Terry
