Here are some pics of my kodiak LBZ MP modified with my S&B intake. Worked out really nice and didn't have to buy any other intake pieces. Looks pretty clean too I might add:D

Looks nice and clean, great install. I was looking in your garage, nice pics. How did the traction bars work out for you? I have been thinking about making some also.

They have been working awsome. No flexing and no wheel hop what so ever. I really knoticed after the trans and a bigger tune, the thing just hooks and that's all it does!!!:D

where did you reroute your pcv? I see the new hose attached to the tee. Did you have to loosen your ic boot to get the mp in? Can you get another shot up close on the drivers side? sorry for all the questions but I did the same exact mod to my truck.

Very nice, I'm going to have to do something like that with my AFE, but I know I also have to trim mine.

Where did you buy the kodiak MP? I've had one on BO from the dealer for three weeks. I was wondering if there is a better source.

I installed the lbz mouth piece. I pulled with the truck and noticed a little lower egt's. But I got on it pretty hard the other day and hit 45.5 psi boost with my big tune. I know that is two high but before I could only hit 38. I belive it is a great mod.

The hose just runs down the pass. side frame rail and the I slash cut the end of the hose I don't get any oil out of it, but I did use about 10" of hose. Also I didn't not loosen the IC boot. I just toock off the old one, moved some wiring to the side and slide her in. But it was a little bit of a pain tho.

I got the MP from partszoneonline.com $85 shipped

GMPartsDirect just shipped my Kodiak MP this week. It had been on backorder for two months. It was about $85 shipped.

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I just learned about this mod and I am interested in trying it. My questions are do you have to change the computer when you do this mod? Also I have an Airaid intake now with the stock MP for the LLY. From what I see I would have to either modify my intake or order a new one for an 06, because of the different length of the MP. Am I thinking about it correctly or is there another method?

You will not need a new computer and it doesn't have to be reflashed to change the MAF tables unless you completely change the entire intake over to a LBZ intake tube. I'm not sure what the Airaid tube is made of but you could always try to cut the tube to fit with the new MP.
The only Dumb question is the one not asked.
