I just installed a Predator tuner, and the Allison is still throroughly confused. I'd like to reset the trans to fastlearn and go through the procedure (I have the GM manuals). Is there anybody near Houston that can set the trans for me without the dealer putting anything in my "permanent file". Would pay a few bucks or a case of beer.

The Allison has to learn on its own. Just dog on it for a while and it will get better. The harder you drive it the faster it will learn.
