We had a good amount of rain yesterday and when I got into the truck I noticed water pooled on my floormat on the driver's side just below the parking brake. I also noticed it dripping from the parking brake (which was not set). It is obviously coming from the corner of the cab somewhere. Any thoughts?

Is a 04 2500HD D/A with 37k miles.

So a search on cab leaks. There have been discussions on this in the past, and I don't rememeber what they found out.

do you have cab lights or XM or any roof mounted stuff? if so, you might check those, or, if you are still under warranty, take it to the dealer and let them scratch their heads on it.

Mine is doing the same thing. I put a dab of silicone up in the top drivers side corner of the windshield where it looked like it might be leaking in from.

Just have to wait for a rain now.

I've called every dealership in 3 counties, and none have ever heard of that happening. Funny thing about it, it won't leak thru a car wash, or with a hose running over the roof, but sure will drip in a light rain.

I understand the drip.

I found the link with the discussion, but still not a positive fix.

Did you find the cause of the leak?

Had my windshield replaced by the dealer about a month ago and it seems to have fixed the leak I had, which sounds similar to yours Good Luck My truck was at the dealer almost a week trying to find the leak I'm glad they were persistant

Reel World,

Would you mind giving me the name and number of your dealer? I'm trying to get my dealer to fix it - but "I'm the only one with this problem". I've had it in twice with "no problem found". I talked to the service director and he agreed to look at it again under warranty. Any info you can supply would be helpful. If I can get these guys to talk to your dealer, that would be perfect.
