I was wondering if anybody knew of any good places ont he web to get replacement mirrors. I am having a hell of a time finiding the right match. It looks like the going price is around $200 for a recently used one. Has anyone ever replaced a mirror? Is it difficult? It doesn't seem like it would be hard, but after looking at a few pictures of the mirrors for sale, they all have pretty long wiring harnesses. I'm just hoping you don't have to take the door panel off to connect the wiring harness. fireandsnow 02-06-2009, 03:21 PM yeah i have seen the ones on ebay too. I found a brand new one on GMpartsdirect.com for $190 but im wondering how close to original it really is or if its different. Anybody ever buy anything from that website? jwedel1777 02-06-2009, 03:50 PM the miirrors are not tough too replace. removal of the door panel is required, but it only takes the removal of one screw (on my 03) and a lil bit of pulling and tugging. the wiring harnesses are long, because the wires slide around a few holes and plug directly into your adjuster switch on the door panel croman 02-06-2009, 04:28 PM have you checked the dealership? I had the exact same thing happen to me but it was on one of my construction sites.. bought one at the dealership for $350 CAD all taxes in.. doesnt hurt to give them a call and ask - and you wont have problems finding the right match.. falktr 02-06-2009, 04:34 PM Does anyone know if the turn signal function will work in the camper mirror (DPN) if I am upgrading from the standard mirror (DL8) without the turn signal?
