Hi ya'll,

I'm looking for any feedback on the BD flow-max lift pump. Is anyone running this product. It seems pretty new to the market, but looks like a decent kit. If anybody does have it, what # hp tunes are you running with it?

It looks like a real easy install and the fact that it has no return line would eliminate 1/4 tank issues. The 1/4 tank issue is shying me away from airdog and Fass. Also i noticed in the description picture that the pump power source looks like a plug that plugs into your ECM maybe?

If it does plug into the ECM, does that mean that it might regulate its line pressure based on oil pressure, throttle position, or turbo boost.

Thanks.:)

No it does not plug into the ECM. Some of the kits come with a sensor to monitor engine oil pressure. Pump will not produce full pressure until oil pressure comes up. So far i've installed roughly a dozen or so of the pumps and all seem to be working very good. They are very quiet as well. One down point is in the instructions they try to get you to mount it on the outside of the frame because of where the inlet for the pump is.
Iv'e installed everything from fass, airdog,PPE, carter, etc.. BD gets my vote for noise level and what seems like an all around solid pump.

Had PPE, now have the FLOWMAX and absolutely love it!!!! Much quieter/smoother and more flow. You will not be dissapointed. Much easier install directions and plug in.
