: Can a leaking injector cause a lean condition?

A couple of weeks ago I started to get a P1093 code while cruising on the highway.
I had just changed the fuel filter, so just in case that filter was bad I installed another one on Monday and still get the code when cruising on the highway.

Injector balance rates are within spec with the worst cyl’s 2&6 at 4 & -4 at idle.
There is no fuel in the oil and the truck runs fine.
Probability is high that the injectors are leaking on the return side or the pump is going out. There is a good chance I'll be having the injectors replaced next week.

I need to tow my trailer 200 miles this weekend but don’t want to damage the engine.
So here’s my question,
Can an injector leak on the return side cause a lean condition and will an LB7 go into limp mode like an LLY if the leak is bad enough:confused:
I'm just trying to convince myself the truck will be fine till Monday:badidea:

Any input would be appreciated

likely have high return rates. It wont cause any damage if not leaking fuel in the crankcase. Worst case you would have low power.
