I want to install the Cognito idler & pitman braces, but have a bracket holding the idler side of my steering stabilizer in the way. I have an RCD 6" lift and the stabilizer bracket moves the shock body forward, away from the RCD front diff brace for clearance. Does anyone know who makes this type of stabilizer bracket? Any idea how I can install the cognito braces without having to buy a new style stabilizer?

Can you notch the brace and move the stabilizer back to the original spot? I don't think you'll lose too much strength in the brace.

Thanks, I may end up notching the Diff brace.

Does anyone out there have the cognito braces installed with a 6" RCD lift? If so, what kind of stabilizer are you running?

I think the Procomp 6" lift is up the same alley. I was going to try and install those same supports as well. If you figure anything out, update me. I'll most likely be trying to do it next weekend sometime.

i do and had no problems, I have the factory Steering Stabilizer (just replaced with a rancho 5000 SS) it wasnt as easy to install because the front diff was kinda in the way but everything did go in. -Jeff
