I have a red switch in my center console in the corner of the small box hole above the big one that fits cds and such. (in front and above the cup holders)

Does anyone else have this switch? It looks factory as hell and a pain to put in if it isnt from the factory since it is rectangular. I bought this truck last year used and have no clue what this switch does. I know I can go back there and figure out where the wires lead but that would be a p.i.t.a.

Does anyone have this, and if so, wtf does it do???

It's for the ejector seat. Seriously, I put switches in all the time that blend in. If it's red, it ain't factory. And if it's in a black panel, IIRC, that panel is nearly friction fit.

hmmmmm sounds like the flucs capacitor on/off switch.

Ha ha, just kidding. No idea what that is for. Do you have a compressor somewhere or inverter that you don't know about? And that console is easy to take out. Just grab and pull straight out.

Not a PITA at all to get behind there..... That whole black insert just pulls out....... just grab it and yank.....

Well I just yanked it out an answered my own question. It is 12v power for the trailer brake. I guess thats why nothing happened when I would press it.
