I just took possession of a used 04, but havent given the salesman the money yet, and am having second thoughts. Before I go deliver the check this morning, can anyone "roughly" tell me what the invoice price on something like this is? I tried calling my local dealers, but they are not open yet......

2005
2500 HD
Crew Cab
4x4
Duramax/Allison
SLT

any guesstimates?

thanks.......if its anywhere in the 30's I will just go get a new one........

hmm.... i was looking at new about 4-6 weeks ago. rebate was 1k with DA. invoice was 41k ish. dealer is a family friend, and best i could do was 40k net of rebate. that was chev LT 4x cc sb.

i think it was worth it for me, but i wanna use my '02 as a work truck for a year while i build a house then consider new next year. if the rebate was bigger for DA i might have done it this year.

Runninghorn....if you want I can get on GM Employee Buypower and build it for you. What extras are on it?

MSRP price on that without many big ticket options, you are looking at ~$48k. GM employees can only go as low as $40k. Don't know where you all shop, but you definately won't do better than a GM employee.

Trust the prices here... I just bought another one myself...

At the end of Jan. I paid $36,000 for a new '05 CCSB LS DMAX with a nice option package. Seems like the invoice was around $45,000.

That's a smokin' deal. FWIW the best I could due on the left coast was $300 over invoice before rebates. I assume that was after rebates?
