It seems the only problems I usually have with my truck is the damn stalling, engine dies, and sometimes no start problems.

Other than that, it's a great truck.

It's a 2000 model C3500 dually, I thought being the last of the 6.5's it had all the bugs out.

The last 4 years I have really cut down driving it, due to the outrageous fuel prices.

Today it has 119,000 miles on it, and I just got done repairing my latest running problem. This time the screen on the fuel pickup was clogged, after drving for about 10 miles, the engine would just loose power and eventually die.
Over the years I've done the PMD mod and replaced the PMD twice, intstalled a new OPS, several fuel filters, new fuel tank, and 1 alternator. Minus that stuff, no problems at all.

If the FSD mod that you did ledft it in the engine bay that may be why you have replaced the PMD twice.

Curious how old your new fuel tank is, and did you install a new FSU at the same time? I also just had clogged sock, wondering if new FSU's are coming with improper sock.

Get a heath unit, I had intake mounted junks and lasted only a few months before stalls again. So far 2 years on the HEath and not even a hiccup.

I did replace the Sending unit about 2 years ago when I installed the new fuel tank. It's a aftermarket design and may have a lesser quality screen on it.

Because I don't drive my truck very much the old fuel tank was rusting from the top down.

also, I did not mount the fuel cooler inside the cab area, I've heard of people doing that.

Where did you mount it? If you mounted it to a heat sink, but mounted it in the engine compartment, then that isn't any better than leaving it on the pump. It needs to be mounted outside the engine compartment. Most mount it behind the front bumper. Cooler air than engine compartment air.
