I want to put a snowmobile sticker on my back window once the warmer weather stays... But i was reading where it says you cant put anything on the window due to the defroster grid...Am i SOL? :confused:

Seems that I see a lot of trucks with decals/murals on the rear window.

Ive got a Browning Buckmark Decal in my back window, so far so good. :confuzeld

I think they mean not to put any stickers on the inside of the window for the heating grid! With my dark windows you would not see a sticker if it was on the inside anyway....

yeah, what pt said. you can't put them on the inside, but on the outside is fair game!

Outside OK, no problems. Inside and you'll be covering up the heat strips. Don't know what effect doing that would have but you'd most likely bung up the strips if you were to remove the stickers or decal.

I get it now. I couldnt believe that the grid would be on the outside, would seem to prone to just about everything...Need to get my PRO-X sticker ready....only 7-8months til snow again....yay!

I had a sticker on the inside of a car I had, worked fine for a couple of years then one morning......ZAP..ZAP.... little smoke and two of the defroster strips shorted out. :eek: oops
