Bill,

Another option is Primerose. George Morrison sells the product from his website at http://store.avlube.com/index.html . I've been using the stuff for a couple of years and so far so good.

FYI..The company is headquarted in Dallas!

My $.02 worth.

Not a member.... There was a place in Texas that I mail ordered a case from. Found on web search of Standyne, or their website. Best price per case that I had found. Can't remember the name....

Stanadyne=rust and water.....

Rust and Water: To me thats a good indicator my filter is working and that maybe that I should change fuel supplier.:)

I believe so, Max Rock.

When did you start carrying Standyne, Eric? I ordered my "experiment", just over a year ago.... Never knew.

Max,
Mike's Diesel Fuel Injection, Kitchener (519-748-5877)(also Mississauga) is my local source. 1.89l treats 950 l for $40.25 CDN tax incl. There is also a Diesel Injection shop (name escapes me at moment) in London that carries it.

PC...
No rust in my filters to date. (can post pics) There is a drain on the OEM fiter that I use from time to time (sample in baggy) and have yet to detect any H2O. Guess I have been lucky with my choice of fuel stops. Down on the farm it was common practice to drain a little fuel off the tank at the start of each day. we also made sure the tractor tank was topped up at the end of each day to minimize tha chance of condensation being a problem.

Spring is finally here in SW Ont! Pulling 5'er out of storage today :-)

Place here was selling Performance Formula for $28 per jug. If bought by the case, it dropped to $26 per jug. I since understand that the price has gone up....

P.S. CDN dollars.

I just bought a 1.89 litre jug of the performance formula last week for $29 CAD.

I buy 1/2 gallon jugs for $16.56 locally(tax included). The best price I could find on the web was a bit lower but with shipping it turned out to be approx $2.00 per 1/2 gallon higher.

Is this about the best fuel additive out there or what are some other good ones?

I have been using it for a while but never purchased in bulk. I will definetly be keeping an eye on this thread for a good bulk buy.
