I have a 2007 gmc with an afe intake mbrp exhaust and an edge chip, other than that stock rite down to the tires.

It usually kicks a mass airflow sensor code and an egr code when I am pulling it hard with my trailer on, I always pull in 2 on my chip. I left it sit for just over a month in Minnesota, I started it and drove about 10 miles, and the check engine light was on it wouldn't go over 25 mph and 2000 rpm's. the codes were the mass or volume circuit Range code p0101 that I've seen while pulling my trailer, and a new one I've never seen before, Manifold absolute pressure sensor performance p0106, Has any one else with an edge chip had issues with check engine codes or similar problems?

Hi,
I just fingerd, blocked and removed my cat. I am now getting 101 & 102 the guy @ Banks say it's the cat ?? Will 101/102 limp my truck? Shoot I don't want to put the cat back on and I sure as hell don't want to buy a new tuner! By the way my truck really runs hard now!

The mas air flow sensor is an air flow meter that measure the amount of air entering the engine. The ECM uses the MAF sensor voltage signal to provide the correct fuel delivery for a reduction in emissions. The ECM uses the MAF sensor signal to control fuel delivery until a caliberated amount of engine air flow is fattained. The MAF sensor produces an output voltage based on the inlet air flow through the air induction system. This output voltage will display on the scan tool as a voltage parameter and as a grams per second parameter. The ECM will calculate a predicted MAF value. The ECM compares the actual MAF sensor voltage signal to the perdicted MAF value. This comparison will determine if the signal is stuck, or is too low or too high for a given operatiing condition. IF the ECM detects that the actual MAF sensor voltage signal is not within a predetermined rage of the calculated MAF value DTC P0101 sets.

This is why the P0101 is set. the solution will be try different programer with code blocker

What about the 106 code that is the one that concerns me, I have had the maf code come on only when pulling a hard hill while running lots of boost, thats not a big deal, but I am thinking of trying a different tuner anyway, but I have never seen that 106 code before an when it came up I was driving melow, could my tuner have any thing to do with that 106 code?

Also, I don't have a cat on my pickup just a muffler.
