See you got it in the 12's good going, what did you lower your tire pressure to? What rpm are you launching at?

Thanks steve, i can now say it's not easy to get in the 12's. I was stuck there for 5 months.

Thanks nick,
I ran nick's low timing, lbz clean race tune with my water methanol setup. id rather have higher egt's, and less cylinder pressure than lower egt's and more cylinder pressures. thats a kick ass tune, nick made a good one :)

As for the trans, allisons hate the 1-2,2-3 shift, so i simply changed the shift points to 3450rpm in those gears only when tow/haul is enguaged.

Were the trans changes the only difference since your 13.0x passes?

I'm curious,

Nick

Correct. I did also have half a tank (25gal) which added a little bit more weight.

Thanks chad, im 100% sure that the 5" exhaust helped quite a bit too

i still need to get my 60's down, as that launch was a 1.84, but i have the mph on the top end.

What % h2o/meth are you running? What mods do you have on your tranny?

Never mind, went and looked in your garage. Time for some air my friend. You have all you need to get very low into the 12 except air. That transfer flow is a tad heavy too, 150 lbs if I remember correctly. But, sure nice on a long trip. TIME FOR TWINS!!:D

Haha, that's good:D If you could cut that to a low 1.7 you would be a 1 to 2 tenths quicker at the big end. Try to lower your tire pressure a little bit more. I run 28 psi in the front and 24 psi in the rears. helped me cut my 60' by a .10.

I was afraid of skipping the rim on the tire, but i'll give that a try in march when the races come to phoenix.

Nah, not low enough pressure to do that. You have 20's right?

On edit: I see you have 17's.

Same thing I told him, mine feel like I'm driving on pillows and have never slipped a tire on a rim. I ran the backs as low as 20psi and not slipped them, that is too low however.;)
