Sorry for the short blurry video, but it's somthin. the white dmax is also here in chandler. i put a efi tune it for him before the races.
1.84 60' need to work on them some more.
12.91 @ 105.6 backed by a 12.92 @ 105.
dmaxn04 01-31-2009, 09:34 AM That white dmax is on this forum right? White with a blue top??
hondarider552 01-31-2009, 09:51 AM yes sir. "nemo" is his screen name.
subman631 01-31-2009, 02:03 PM See you got it in the 12's good going, what did you lower your tire pressure to? What rpm are you launching at?

40psi all around, and im launching at 12lbs of boost, dont know the rpm :D
SteveFord 01-31-2009, 05:50 PM Congrats on getting into the twelves!
vortecfcar 01-31-2009, 06:40 PM Congrats Brian! You've been cutting a tenth off on each trip...
Nick
hondarider552 01-31-2009, 07:45 PM Congrats on getting into the twelves!
Thanks steve, i can now say it's not easy to get in the 12's. I was stuck there for 5 months.
Congrats Brian! You've been cutting a tenth off on each trip...
Nick
Thanks nick,
I ran nick's low timing, lbz clean race tune with my water methanol setup. id rather have higher egt's, and less cylinder pressure than lower egt's and more cylinder pressures. thats a kick ass tune, nick made a good one :)
As for the trans, allisons hate the 1-2,2-3 shift, so i simply changed the shift points to 3450rpm in those gears only when tow/haul is enguaged.
vortecfcar 01-31-2009, 08:09 PM Were the trans changes the only difference since your 13.0x passes?
I'm curious,
Nick
AlligatorPerformance 01-31-2009, 08:12 PM Congrats on getting into the 12's! Welcome to the club.

Correct. I did also have half a tank (25gal) which added a little bit more weight.
hondarider552 01-31-2009, 08:17 PM Congrats on getting into the 12's! Welcome to the club.
Thanks chad, im 100% sure that the 5" exhaust helped quite a bit too
i still need to get my 60's down, as that launch was a 1.84, but i have the mph on the top end.
subman631 01-31-2009, 08:51 PM What % h2o/meth are you running? What mods do you have on your tranny?
subman631 01-31-2009, 08:56 PM Never mind, went and looked in your garage. Time for some air my friend. You have all you need to get very low into the 12 except air. That transfer flow is a tad heavy too, 150 lbs if I remember correctly. But, sure nice on a long trip. TIME FOR TWINS!!:D

50/50 meth distilled water.

Maybe you can give me a ride when your down here in AZ in march to help me make my decision. :D
KEVINL 02-01-2009, 12:02 AM good job

Haha, that's good:D If you could cut that to a low 1.7 you would be a 1 to 2 tenths quicker at the big end. Try to lower your tire pressure a little bit more. I run 28 psi in the front and 24 psi in the rears. helped me cut my 60' by a .10.
hondarider552 02-01-2009, 12:25 AM I was afraid of skipping the rim on the tire, but i'll give that a try in march when the races come to phoenix.
AlligatorPerformance 02-01-2009, 12:32 AM Nah, not low enough pressure to do that. You have 20's right?
On edit: I see you have 17's.

Same thing I told him, mine feel like I'm driving on pillows and have never slipped a tire on a rim. I ran the backs as low as 20psi and not slipped them, that is too low however.;)
hondarider552 02-01-2009, 02:38 PM im surprised "arbowhunter" hasnt posted in here...
