I just finsihed installing the Viair Heavy Duty set up. I also ran air horns behind my grill. I mounted the tank and compressor to some diamond plate then mounted this in the space under my bed on the passenger side. I ran a quick connect to the rear hitch.

Great work!!!! That is a really slick set-up you have there. I really like the QC coupling by the hitch!

this has probably been asked before but did you have to ditch the spare? I assume since you said under the bed on the passenger side it is mounted to the frame rail through the diamondplate? awesome set up, is there a drain on the tank? looks awesome, nice job.

I did not ditch the spare. It is actually located in the space between the frame rail and the outside portion of the bed right in front of the rear tire. There is two I suppose C channels that hold up the bed. I mounted the diamond plate to that then the tank an compressor to the diamond plate. It fits in there perfectly ( major pain in the rear trying to get it in the space, very little room to work with). There is a drain on the tank, that end has more spacers between it and the diamond plate making the drain the lowest point. The pictures are hard to refeence, they are from the ground looking up at the set up. Everything is mounted upside down. Let me know if you need to see more pictures.

Thanks for the compliments. I already want new horns. I need louder ones.
