I was at work today thinking. What if i pairs a good torque converter and a transgo kit with a ats copilot setup would this be a good setup for up to 500hp as an option to the suncoast stage 3. Just wondering if this has already been covered let me know.
Got Juice?

Do a search on it.
IMHO at 400 RWHP (Stock is 242) you are within the limits of the design of the kit (Transgo)
Higher than that, is only a matter of time. Mind you, your mileage may vary by how you drive, drag, trailer etc.

Talk to Nick the founder. Or there are a few others that disagree with Juice on the hp limit of the transgo kit. I never ran just it but know of those that have.
Why do you want to co pilot? becasue of the holding capacity or becasue you want its features?
Do you know that 500HP is your limit? what exactly are your plans?

IMHO............ do it right or don't do it at all. Hodge-podge only lasts so long and the warrenty really stinks.

I just want my tranny to be able to hold level 5 on the edge. I won't be using it alot i just wanna be able to play when i want. But i don't wanna dump 5 g's into a full tranny. I was just wondering if it would be really beneficial to have the added holding ablitity of the co-pilot

The copilot is a very worthy option to any trans mod out there. Suncoast trans would love it.

If you just want to run a juice on the 125 level or if you want to upgrade it to hot then a converter and a transgo kit will get it done for you IMO. But you need to R&R your trans so if your going to pay for it to get done you may want to drop the extra coin on a stage 3 or the like. Depends what you are going to get charged.

I seriously considered the type of setup mentioned, but I ended up opting for the clutches included with the Suncoast III because I figured doing it once was better than doing it several times.
