Cant find the member they speak of that sells these, but just found my closest dealer via their webpage, he is only 255 miles away:eek:
They said the only model they carry is the 1105 for my 04 Duramax, said it would take 5 hours to install, cost $299.99 and an additional $39.99 for some kind of bypass they said i needed.
Is this price about right? Anyone know if this bypass they speak of is necessary? Is this the right/correct/best model? Thanks for any input.........

Why to much for the install and it will take may be 3 hours. Thats about all it took me when I did mine. Get it from Tony and you will have great support.

That price is a bit high for an 1105. I would go with at least the 2106 or the 2205. The 2106 costs me $5 more then the 1105 and it has twice the range. We don't even offer the 1105 to our customers.

Maxpower, so much would the 2205 be and how long would it take to install? Also, would the 2205 require the bypass?
Thanks

All models require the bypass. This goes for any brand of remote start as well.

I've been involved in 3 installs(all bought from Max Power). It's seems awfully intimidating when you first open the package, but taking your time, reading carefully and using Tony's cheat sheets it's really pretty easy.
On the upside he'll take all your phone calls, give you the answers you seek and save his 'dumb***" comment until after you hang up and you can't hear him.

Max is the best! He has gone above and beyond to answer all my questions and has been very, very, very helpful, even months after the purchase.

No question about it Max Power is the man for remote starters. I bought 2 of them from him. One for the Dmax and the other for the wifes Suburban. He was very helpfull and know every wire, module, locking mechanism etc on both vehicles.
Gave me his home number and cell when I did the install and said call with any questions.
