hey guys, lately when im filling i have to manually squeeze the trigger because it will shut off if i get it to or past the first notch. it never used to do this.

im not trying to use the big trucker sized nozzles just the regular sized ones. ive tried filling at different pumps and even at different stations but i get the same results. its quite the pain when its freezing outside and i have to stand there for ten mins while it fills.

ive searched and read about the aftermarket filler necks but i dont feel like spending 200$ on one. someone mentioned in a thread about using a punch and popping out the filler neck. i might attempt that if some did a DIY with pictures.

anyone else have any help?

Try and pull out the pump nozzle a little bit next time you fill up and see if that helps. Mine does it sometimes too when it put the nozzle all the way in.

She don't like it when I put it all the way in!! Sorry couldn't resist.
