i have 2000 c/k 2500 6.5 turbo. the other night my brakes just stopped working. checked and front cylinder was empty. filled it and checked for leaks and found none. bled breaks and they are worse now. father in law thinks my truck has vac brake setup like his 6.2. any help or diagrams would be appriciated.

Empty = leak. No other way to lose fluid. The larger reservoir is for the front brakes.
As for bleeding, this thread will get you started, BUT remember, since you lost ALL the fluid, the automated bleed is MANDATORY. (or you could try my "redneck" way in the next link down). http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235625&highlight=bleed

If its gone or low it does not mean there was a leak necessarily.. If pads wear down enough and the brake fluid goes unchecked for long periods that pad wear is taken up by fluid volume and can eventually get to the point the master sucks air...
