I have been having trouble lately with my 2002 7.3 powerstroke with 53,000 miles. Under hard acceleration up to about 70 MPH it will start missing and will slow down and barely run 55. It will clear up and run at slower speeds full power. The fuel filter is almost new. I took it to the dealer and they found no codes and supposedly did every test. They decided it was the PCM. They replaced it and it seemed to run fine.

Today it started the same thing over again with no light or code present. I am gonna have to go back and spend more money at the dealer.-:t

I have had it reprogrammed off and on for 2 years with no problems till now. It will act up on the stock or tuned settings. I had I guy tell me I had a week fuel pump. It does sound weird when I turn the key on. Could it be starving for fuel? What is up with my truck????
