I know the 33 is an inch wider but i am trying to put 17x9 XD wheel or the Dale Jr Cannon's with Nitto Mud Grapplers. Issue is the Grapplers only come in 33x12.5 not 285's. Just trying to see what will fit I have 285's on 16" rims right now but want mud grapplers any ideas about fitment?

not sure what kind of truck your working with here but im guessing a 2500hd. What offset are you going with first of all. The 285 is really a 33.5x11.50 so inch narrower and 1/2 taller, could depend on make of tire. If its around zero or negative offset you can fit 12.50 and if they are similar to stock wheel at +18 then go 11.50
