Use Transynd. Your local allison dealer has it at around 32 bucks a gallon. Allison reccommends it in all their transmissions.

Transynd is a good product. There are others. Synthetics are very popular in the drive train.

Two choices.

Transyn

Amsoil Torque Drive

There are more, these are most popular. Any fluid with a TES-295 number is approved by Allison.

BP Autran synthetic transmission fluid is the same exact fluid as Transynd. Both are 295 certified and made by BP Global, just with different names. Transynd is exclusive to Allison service centers which explains the $32-$40 per gallon price. You can buy BP Autran from FleetPride and other places. I'm not sure about the price for Autran, but it has to be better than Transynd's.

...fill out your signature so we know what you have. As scramHD and Heath mentioned, I would use TranSynd or Amsoil TorqueDrive. Good luck.
