I just put a set 265 75/16s on a, other wise, stock '06 Silverado LBZ. The thing was riding perfect on the stock tires ( worn out as they were). Now I cant seem to hold the lane. It feels like im driving in a gusty cross wind all the time. Running 80 psi in the rear and 57 in the front. Any suggestions???

I have the same tires and had the same experience. The wandering went away in less than 1000 mi. I run an empty truck with 65psi front and 60psi rear. Rides real good. Tires are wearing well. Glad I bought them.

I had this same problem and bumped the air up to 80psi in my front and it helped.

yes air the fronts to 65 psi plus maybe even 75 there is alot of weight in the front of these trucks,,,and like the other guys said put some miles on them and you should be fine..

Mine did the same when I put them on as well. After about 700-1000 miles, they stiffened up. Not sure what it is. It will go away for ya.

Your old tires had less tread flex and fit rim better so tread was flat. 265 tires are wider and narrow rim makes tire crown. I put 265 tires on my truck it didn't feel right for about 1500 miles. Also 80psi is to much for empty bed I use 65psi front and rear and add to rear when loaded.

I run 60 in the front and 50 in the back when empty. They do seem to be funny when not at optimal pressure.

Like everyone else said. The squirmy feeling will go away after a few hundred miles. I run 60 front and back and seems to work well.

I feel like a NASCAR pit crew chief. After a bunch of tire pressure adjustments heres what worked best for me. 65 in the fronts and 70 in the rears.Rides perfect now. Thanks for all the feedback
